No Dismissals / No Transportation Changes after 3:30.  The Office has been getting several last-minute requests for these and it makes it almost impossible to communicate those changes safely and in time for students.  If you must check your child out early, you need to come BEFORE 3:30 or you'll be asked to wait until dismissal to the Auditorium at 3:50.  This is all for your student's safety.

Coupon Books - You guys are knocking this sale out of the park!!  We have sold 1000 books in only 3 days - FANTASTIC!  Remember we get to keep $7 from each book which is a huge percentage from a fundraiser.  Our next "reward day" will be Five by Friday (Sept. 6).  Those students who have sold at least five books by then will get pizza and a cookie for lunch on Mon, Sept. 9.  Remember you can purchase online HERE.  Keep it up!!

Donuts with Grown-Ups - The PTA is looking forward to seeing everyone on the front lawn this Thursday morning from 8-8:30 for a donut and time to mingle.  We will dismiss students promptly at 8:30 to come inside and let you get on to work.  Please sign-up HERE so the PTA can get a good count.  Thanks to Highland Mortgage across the street for purchasing our donuts!!

PTA Membership - The Membership Drive will conclude this Fri, Aug. 30.  There is a pizza party waiting on the classes with the highest participation in K-4th and 5th-8th.  Currently Mrs. York's and Ms. Heisig's classes are winning.  Please consider joining as your PTA works hard all year to love on teachers and support students in so many ways!  Membership Form.pdf

Kindergarten Admissions - Many of you have already noticed on the website that our process is changing this year.  There will be no meetings this fall in order to enter the lottery.  Online applications only will be accepted and should be available in December with the lottery being held in February.  We are offering tours for families who are interested, so if you have friends please direct them to our website under Admissions for tour dates and sign-ups.  But again, these are NOT required.  I will send out a Sibling Identification Form in October so we can identify who will be joining us next year.

Volunteers - New to the sign-ups are help during weekends picking up trash on our grounds and also baking cookies for our Coupon Book reward in September.  Keep checking the listings as new opportunities are always being added and spots to volunteer at school during the day are added each Friday.

Half-Day - Wed, Sept. 4.  Students will dismiss around noon and buses will run.  Aftercare will be available.  If you need to sign up for this, forms are in the Office or on the website under For Parents > Forms.

Car Numbers - Please keep working with your student to learn their car rider number in the afternoon so that dismissal can go quickly and efficiently.  We know they are trying their best!

Have a great week!
