Big week at CSLA!  Let's go!

MomBa TONIGHT!!  All moms, grandmas, aunts and friends - come Zumba with your CSLA pals for free tonight at 6pm and join in for some laughter and a little bit of a workout (ok, it's a LOT of a workout!!)  This is a great way to meet new people and build community!  Mrs. Franceschi will keep you moving and having a great time!  Adults only!

Spirit Week - Thanks to the middle school Student Forum for coming up with great ideas.  Today was Make a Friend Monday and I have seen lots of kind words all over the walls of our school!
Tuesday - Crazy Hair Day
Wednesday - Pajama Day (school appropriate)
Thursday - Trend Day (pick a throwback trend or one going on today - can you say VSCO girl?)
Friday - CSLA Spirit Day with your green and white or tie-dye!

PTA Fall Carnival - I hope you're ready for a great night on Friday!  Bring the whole family for food, games, face painting, dodgeball and FUN!  Check out the plan for the night - flyer will come home tomorrow.  Everything starts at 5:30 - volunteers still needed.  PTA Fall Carnival.docx

PTA Dodge for Dough - Remember the PTA has given you a "get out of fundraising free" card and isn't asking you to sell a thing - they just want a donation your family feels is doable.  Donations are continuing to be accepted through Nov. 22 via a check to CSLA PTA (send it to the Office), at PayPal or through Venmo to @CSLA-PTA.  Every dollar helps them sponsor field trip assistance, teacher grants, technology, teacher appreciation and our Interventionist and Spanish teacher.  Please consider sending a gift of which 100% will stay right here at CSLA!  Dodge for Dough Final.pdf

Address/Info Update - If any of your contact information changes throughout the year, it is very important you let the Office know.  Please keep them up-to-date with email, address or cell phone changes so we know how to reach you.

Lost and Found
- I know some of your students are sooo thirsty because there seem to be 100 lost water bottles in the Auditorium.  These will disappear at Thanksgiving - please come take a look!

Label Belongings - As cold weather comes, it's high season for little jackets and coats to find their way to Lost and Found.  They are so sad there and want nothing more than to be reunited with their sweet child.  Help us do that by putting your child's name inside their jackets.  We actually look and try to return items if we can decipher their owner!!

Volunteers - Thanks to parents who have participated in the past two weeks of Saturday volunteer opportunities!  Our Digital Literacy session was so great and our Extra Life Game Day this past Saturday was tons of fun I heard!  Remember there are still SIX months left to volunteer and be part of what's going on at school - we need you all year long!  Thanks for your willingness to lend your time and energy to our school - it truly makes a difference!

PTA Spring Event - Can you plug in on the ground floor for this adult-only night?  The PTA is looking for all kinds of talent - website peeps, marketing, graphic design, bakers, etc.  Take a look HERE and see what you could do to help!

Parent Survey - The link HERE will continue to be available until Nov. 15.  We appreciate everyone's response as we are always on the lookout to make the CSLA experience as good as it can be!  At the end of the survey is a link to sign up and receive 30 minutes of volunteer time per family.  All responses are COMPLETELY anonymous.  Thanks for your participation!

Student Half-Day - Wednesday, Nov. 13.  Childcare will be available but you must be registered and send a sack lunch.

PTA Board Meeting - Thur 11/14 at 5:30 - ANY parent is welcome and encouraged to attend and be a part of what PTA is doing!
