Welcome back, CSLA!  We hope everyone had a relaxing and fun break.  Here's to a great second semester!

Welcome to our visiting students and teachers from Tono, Japan!  They will be here through Thursday.  This is a long-standing partnership and we are thrilled to have them be part of CSLA for a bit.

PTA Board Meeting - TONIGHT at 5:45 for anyone interested in attending.

CSLA Spelling Bee - Thur, Jan. 10 @ 1pm in the Auditorium.

Middle School Sports Banquet - To recognize CSLA students who participated in Football, Softball, Tennis, Cross Country, Basketball and Soccer.  This Thur, Jan. 10 at 6pm in the Auditorium.  Dessert provided.

Volunteer Opportunities
 - There are a couple of spots left for volleyball concessions in February and some spots at the Robotics Tournament in February at Chatt State - great evening and weekend time!  Don't forget your hours are due April 30 - don't wait until the last minute when opportunities to help are few and far between!

Report Cards/Parent Hours Reports - These will come home on Friday.  Remember Hours Reports are sent with the youngest student.  If you made food for a holiday party, you need to turn in your time - I don't give time just because your name was on a sign-up.  Please send that to me asap so it will be included on this week's report.

Kindergarten Acceptance Letters are due by Friday, Jan. 18.  Don't risk your spot being given away - turn the letter in this week!

No School - Monday, Jan. 21 in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

Remember to label your student's coats and jackets and lunchboxes and water bottles.  We sent a ton of stuff away that was left behind in Lost and Found.  If it has even initials in it, I can almost always return it to its owner!

Yearbooks - Order yours soon and complete your FREE personal pages!  Orders can only be made online - the link is here on the website under For Parents.  Great way to capture the memories from this year!

Please remember that you need to put your cell phone down while you are in the car line in both the morning and afternoon.  It's the law!  And a call can wait for the safety of our kids, teachers and parents.

Have a great week!
