We hope everyone enjoyed your long weekend and some extra rest!

HALF-DAY TOMORROW - Wed 9/4.  Dismissal for car riders will begin at NOON (please do not line up prior to 11:30).  Buses will run around that time as well.  Aftercare is available until 6:00pm but you need to be registered.  Forms are in Office or on website under For Parents > Forms.

Softball - Home game TODAY at 4:30!

PTA Board Meeting - Thur 9/5 at 5:30.  Anyone is welcome to attend and be a part of the discussion and plans.

Coupon Books Sales - Sale is going GREAT!  So far Mr. Castle and Mrs. Greene's classes are in the lead for percentage of participation.  Keep selling and remember it's for such a great cause - a covered walkway for our students to keep them dry and safe during inclement weather!  Don't forget you can also purchase these online HERE.

Note from Nurse Paige - Does your child have health issues? Remember to send in doctor's orders along with emergency medicine to Nurse Paige.  Also, K-2 students really need to have an extra set of clothing in their backpacks for accidents.  If your child has other medical conditions like allergies, asthma, seizures, etc. - she needs to know!  Give her a call or stop by!

Celebration of Learning - Tue 9/17 at 6pm.  Come ready to hear what's been going on so far this year, learn what the PTA is up to and take a stroll through your child's classroom to see what great learning has been going on.  For those new to CSLA, this is similar to a traditional Open House.

Volunteering - Opportunities for helping during the day at school and selling Coupon Books at the Chattanooga Market this Sunday are on the website.

Yearbook - It's not too early to purchase your yearbook!  You can save 15% by buying it by Sept. 30.  All purchases are online.  Yearbooks are full-color, hardback books that include two optional FREE pages that you can use to import your own family memories and pictures to make it even more personal for  your student.  Order HERE or always on the website under For Parents. Books are delivered to school in May.

Girl Scout Interest - If you have a Kindergarten girl who might be interested in Girl Scouts, there will be a "try-it" informal meeting this Thursday 9/5 from 4-5pm under the trees on the playground.

School Fees - If you didn't have the opportunity to pay these at Registration, you can still do it!  The CSLA school fee is $25 per student - you can send in a check to your teacher or pay online HERE.  Thanks for helping us collect these fees that make a big difference in helping run the school for the year.

Are you receiving CSLA texts?  If not, opt-in from the cell phone you entered at online registration by sending YES to 67587.  Great way to stay up-to-date and aware of announcements and opportunities!

Enjoy your week!
