MomBa - Tonight at 6pm in the Auditorium!  Just for moms, enjoy a night of fun and exercise with Zumba led by Comelia Franceschi and a Yoga cool-down led by CSLA parent Madia Swicord.  Sponsored by the PTA, this is a great time to get to know other moms and burn a few extra calories - no rhythm required!

Cookies and the Community - Tomorrow, 11/6, at 6pm at East Ridge Elementary.  The first event for our Missionary Ridge Learning Community, this will be a time to meet school board members and Hamilton County personnel, visit vendors who might offer services you need and learn a bit more about other schools in our area.  A sign-in sheet will be there for you to earn volunteer time if you attend!

Way to Go GIRLS! - The girls just barely eeked out a win in the PTA Change Wars!  Their jug weighed 8 oz more than the boys.  The trophy proclaiming the victors is on the trophy case in the hallway.  Thanks to ALL families who were a part of the Donation Drive - every penny helped!

Strings Concert - Friday 11/9 at 6:30.  Musicians need to be here in concert dress by 6pm.

PTA Board Meeting - Monday 11/12 at 5:45 in the Auditorium.  ANYONE is welcome to attend.

Eagles' Run 5K - If you haven't registered yet, RUN, don't walk, to the link on the website (look under News/Upcoming Events).  You can also pay online.  This race on Sat, Nov. 17 at TN Riverpark Pavilion #4 is going to be a ton of fun and you'll be sad to miss it!

Saturday Volunteer Opportunity - The CSLA Robotics team is headed to a competition here in Chattanooga on Sat, Dec. 1 and they need help!  Sign up in the Volunteer Opportunities for all kinds of ways you can pitch in.  It's a pretty neat thing to be a part of!

Host Families Needed - We have 9 students and 2 teachers coming to Chattanooga in January from Tono, Japan and are looking for CSLA families to host them in their home while they are here.  They'll be here from Jan 4-14.  It's an excellent way to experience another culture and share the best parts of ours with someone else.  If you are interested, please fill out this form - it JUST means you're interested, not completely committed.

Remember we are out of school Nov. 21-23 for Thanksgiving!  Also, please come check out the Lost and Found coat rack and table - it is getting full!  Have a great week!
